Kristi Camomile

Our relationship is the most important part of your therapeutic journey. You have just as much to offer to me as I do to you. I take a Wise Mind approach in my therapeutic practice blending logic and emotion. This belief allows us to create an individualized experience. I am a validating, honest, non judgemental, intuitive, gender affirming, skilled therapist with 18 years of experience in the mental health field. I have been honored to help adolescents, adults, and families. I want you to recognize that although the challenges that you are currently experiencing may seem insurmountable, I believe in you and I always have a “therapeutic trick up my sleeve.” We will work together every step of the way.
I graduated from the University of Utah, then received a Masters in Counseling at the University of Phoenix. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, maladaptive behaviors, addiction, personality disorders, life/faith challenges, family conflict, ADHD, gender identity/ LGBTQ+, autism, attachment, and trauma. I help clients find ways to calm their emotional mind, treat the root cause, while adopting new coping skills to deal with distress.

I regularly blend DBT, CBT, trauma focused therapy, art therapy, systemic theory, sand tray, play therapy, and emotion focused interventions with skill training/building. I am able to walk the line between challenging you while providing unconditional positive regard”. Whether this is your first time in therapy, skeptical about the process having had other therapists, resistant to change or open to new tools I look forward to meeting you
