Amy Colton, LMFT
Hi, how are you? When that question is asked in therapy, you can truly share exactly how you are feeling. I really want to know. I understand firsthand how complex and complicated life can get and how overwhelmed and unsure we can feel at difficult times in our lives. It can be hard to know how to heal and move forward, make changes and find support. There are many external and internal factors that can inhibit us from living a full and valuable life. I would feel privileged to meet you where you are, hear your story, and work alongside you to find ways, unique and personalized for you, to bravely face your own unique challenges.
When I personally sought out therapy after an unwanted divorce, I never imagined how much it would impact my life. I became a therapist hoping to similarly make a difference in the lives of others. I have worked with a variety of clients struggling with marriage conflicts, LGBTQ+ stressors, major faith shifts, difficult relationships, childhood trauma, loss, and more.
I have traveled and lived in many different places which has helped me better understand and celebrate diversity. My hobbies include volleyball, hiking, cycling, paddleboarding, snorkeling and wandering this beautiful planet. I am a single mother of 3 children who are my whole world.
