FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY

Lexie Cottle, CMHC

As a therapist, I’ve worked with clients of varying ages and with various issues, and I feel comfortable with just about anything thrown my way. I have specialized experience working with young adults, new parents, couples, and families, and would love to gain more experience working in stepfamily dynamics.
My first and most important priority is to make clients feel safe and understood in my office, through emotional support, unconditional regard, and specialized techniques. I have helped hundreds of individuals work through childhood wounds, trauma, betrayals, life changes, and more. I have collected different forms of training over the years and have an eclectic but proactive approach to help you notice improvements in your mental health. That training includes, but is not limited to: Gottman for marriage therapy and new families, ACT/mindfulness for trauma and anxiety, IFS therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for most mental health disorders.
