Michelle Macfarlane, AMFT

My passion in life is helping and serving others in meaningful ways. I value your time, your energy, and your effort in learning how to heal through therapy. When you meet with me, you will experience the personalized empathy, care and attention your unique situation deserves.

My specialties and areas of focus with clients include depression, anxiety, grief, divorce, co-parenting, blended families, infidelity, trauma, PTSD, self-esteem, women/female related emotional issues, and adolescents experiencing emotional difficulties. I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients as well as individuals in non-traditional relationships. I enjoy working with diverse populations and individuals. I will always respect your religious or agnostic beliefs. I never let my beliefs dictate or influence your personalized session with me. I conducted Grief Support Groups for those experiencing loss.

I am a Gottman Level 2 trained therapist which means I have additional training and expertise in couple’s therapy. Additionally, I am certified for treating Trauma and Affairs through the Gottman Institute. I am a current American Associate for Marriage and Family Therapy member, a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and graduated with honors and distinction in Marriage and Family Therapy.
