FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY

Lauren Atkinson, LMFT

I love working with diverse populations – I am energized by working with a little bit of everything! I love working with teenagers and adults, but enjoy working with little kiddos too. I was a recreational therapist for 8 years before starting grad school, so I have a good foundation of using activities (music, art, etc.) to explore therapeutic principles, which helps a lot with my teenagers and kids.

I primarily use CBT, ACT, and am trained in Lifespan Integration (a trauma model of therapy). I got Gottman trained last year and am hoping to continue to add to that. I am hoping to get trained in ART this year.

I love working with clients with anxiety, depression, faith transition work, postpartum, and grief.
