Michael Ruoho, LCSW

I have been a therapist for the past 37 years. I have worked with all kinds of populations and behavior and mental health issues over the years. My passions are working with trauma from abusive relationships to sexual trauma and with our veterans who protect our country and the trauma they experience. I specialize in addiction for both substance use and sexual addiction. I also specialize in betrayal trauma for partners of sexual addicts. Due to my extensive history as a therapist I also specialize in PTSD for veterans, sexual abuse and trauma.

Besides being a licensed LCSW I also carry certifications as a CSAT in Sexual Addiction and Trauma from the International Institute of Sex and Trauma Therapist as well as membership in this organization. I also carry a CMAT certification in multiple addiction training from this same organization. I am also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a member of this organization as well. My passion is working hard with clients to help them on their healing journey.
