I am not very good at talking about myself, but here’s a bit of my background. I come from a difficult upbringing and have personally experienced trauma myself. My journey continued in my role as a police officer, where I was involved in an officer-involved shooting, which required me to use my weapon. This experience deepened my interest in trauma and PTSD. For the past four years, I have been training and using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am particularly passionate about working with first responders, as I have been in that role myself and understand the unique challenges of the profession firsthand.

I feel comfortable addressing issues like anxiety, depression, OCD, and bipolar disorder, as well as working with families and couples. I enjoy a good conflict and finding joy in the resolutions that can emerge when couples or families identify and address the patterns in their arguments. 

I am open to working with clients from all religious backgrounds, without preference. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I believe that everyone has their own belief system. 

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my little dog. We like to go on hikes and walks, along with weekend camping trips with friends. In the winter, you will find me ice fishing and hunting whenever I have the chance.
