Lexie Cottle, CMHC

I am passionate about helping others find peace and improve themselves when faced with difficult circumstances. With over 15 years of experience as a professional counselor, I am dedicated to this mission. As a therapist, I have worked with clients of various ages and issues, and I feel comfortable addressing a wide range of challenges. I specialize in working with young adults, new parents, couples, and families, and I am eager to support you in your healing journey.
My top priority is to ensure that you feel safe and understood in my office. Through emotional support, unconditional regard, and specialized techniques, I have helped hundreds of individuals navigate childhood wounds, trauma, betrayals, life changes, and more. Over the years, I have accumulated various forms of training and have developed an eclectic but proactive approach to help you notice improvements in your mental health. This training includes but is not limited to: Gottman therapy for couples and new families, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)/mindfulness for trauma and anxiety, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for various mental health disorders. I highly value the trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship and strive to create an environment full of compassion, empathy, honesty, and humor.
Having experienced trauma, loss, change, and disappointment in my own life, I continue to work towards my own inner peace. I would be honored to get to know you and serve as a catalyst in your journey toward finding peace.
