 Makaela Caldwell

Hi, my name is Makaela (she/her), and I believe that you are the expert in your life and strive to provide a therapeutic atmosphere where you can explore your experiences with curiosity and learn to love and celebrate yourself. Life can present us with various challenges, and it’s okay to ask for help. Whether you are grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or unresolved traumas, therapy provides a safe and compassionate space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I am committed to walking alongside you as we navigate your unique path towards well-being.

As a marriage and family therapist, I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families from differing ages, backgrounds, and communities. I have experience working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ folx. I am passionate about empowering individuals like you to overcome obstacles, tap into their inner strength, and create positive change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we will foster a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.

I am a Utah native and had the opportunity to live in Idaho, Florida, and Southern Utah during my undergraduate degree. I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. I am a huge nerd and can talk your ear off about Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Zelda, or musical theatre. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching and talking about movies, playing video games, and building Lego.
