Michelle Peters

Every day presents us with new challenges. No one is immune to life’s difficulties or struggles. I believe that every person has within them the capacity to face these challenges through change, growth and healing. Whether it’s your first time meeting with a therapist, or continuing on your therapeutic journey, I’m here to meet you right where you are. Using a client-centered approach, I strive to create a safe space and open environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Together we can work on how to better understand oneself, set goals, and find your true authentic self.

I have a special interest in working with children, adolescents and young adults. I am also LGBTQ+ and faith-transition friendly. I am passionate about tailoring therapy to each clients unique needs and draw from various therapeutic modalities as I learn about and strive to meet the individual needs of my clients.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of California San Diego and Masters degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Rocky Mountain University. While I miss the beaches in California, I often find myself driving through Utah’s canyons with a Diet Coke in hand and singing along to Taylor Swift.
