Issac Gonzales, LMFT

Navigating the complexities of life can feel like traversing a ravaging storm full of tumultuous waves. It is natural to feel lost and powerless; however, this does not need to be a permanent state. Therapy can be the eye of the storm: a safe environment where you seek refuge and explore how to ride the waves safely back to shore. While the path to recovery may feel fraught with uncertainty, there is peace and healing in its wake. Whether you are struggling with extreme conflict with loved ones or unmanageable stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or addiction, I am committed to helping you improve the quality and stability of your life and relationships.

My approach is direct yet gentle: I won’t just sit in silence; I will be right there with you, offering a steady hand and a clear perspective. My goal is that by the time you leave each session, you feel a genuine sense of relief and reconnection. Even on difficult days, I aim for you to walk out the door with a sense of clarity, direction, and hope. By coming to therapy, you can empower yourself to develop the fortitude through which you can successfully navigate your personal challenges and marital and family conflicts more effectively.

I have been practicing for two and a half years as an associate marriage and family therapist. During this time, I have been highly invested in supporting individuals in finding peace, clarity, direction, and hope. I have also supported many couples and families learn how to change their perceptions, rewrite the narratives, rekindle lost connections, and enhance how they communicate and manage conflict. My goal is to help you experience meaningful and sustainable changes that will bring a sense of empowerment and wholeness.

I have been married to my wonderful wife for eight years, and we have two incredible sons. My wife and sons motivate, inspire, encourage, and support me in my lifelong pursuit of becoming a competent and humble mental health provider. In my spare time, I enjoy connecting with my family by spending quality time with them and engaging in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities with them. I love watching anime, playing board, card, and video games, listening to podcasts and music, playing guitar, exercising and weightlifting, hiking, fishing, exploring, and engaging in mindfulness and grounding practices.
