Jake Westercamp, MFTi

Therapy often starts with a simple desire for change, even if that desire feels small. The fact that you’re here already says something about that part of you. Many people come into therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. You don’t have to have everything figured out. Therapy can be a space where you slow things down, feel understood, and begin moving forward in a way that feels meaningful and real.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you navigate the confusion, stress, or challenges you may be facing in a way that feels clear and manageable. I take a collaborative and down to earth approach, creating a space where you can be yourself without feeling judged.

I often think of therapy like navigation. I can help you better understand where you are and explore possible directions, but you remain in control of where you go. My goal is to support you in creating change that feels realistic, meaningful, and lasting.

Much of my experience comes from working with children and adolescents in residential treatment and addiction recovery settings. I have worked with individuals facing challenges such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and family conflict.

I enjoy working with children, teens, and their families, and while I also work with adults, much of my focus is on supporting younger individuals and the systems around them. My own past experiences, including working through a 12 step program earlier in life, have shaped my desire to support others navigating similar challenges.
