Melanie Scott, LCMHC

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns that leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. Having navigated my own share of challenges and transitions, I understand how disorienting those moments can be—and how important it is to have support. I’m committed to helping individuals, couples and families find clarity, healing, and direction, whether they’re facing struggles with relationships, parenting, addiction, or mental health concerns. I want to walk alongside you as you work toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

It’s easy to lose hope when progress feels slow or setbacks occur, but growth is often closer than it seems. I will work persistently with you to help you recognize your inner strength, set realistic goals and help you with developing practical tools for lasting change. Together, we will focus on building resilience, gaining insight, and creating strategies that will empower you to move forward with confidence, even in the face of ongoing challenges.

In addition to fifteen years of professional expertise, I bring a wealth of personal experience that shapes my perspective and approach. My journey through single parenthood, blended family dynamics, and raising four children has given me a deep understanding of the complexities individuals face. These experiences will help me connect with you in a meaningful way and offer guidance that is both compassionate and grounded in real life.

On a personal note, when not in session I love hiking, biking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. I love spending time with my husband, kids and grandkids and making time to laugh.
