Julie Holbrook, LMFT
I have been working as a Marriage & Family Therapist for over a decade now, and it has truly been the privilege of a lifetime! I am honored and humbled to walk with my clients through their stories, and to watch so many change their personal narratives for a better life ahead. I believe my clients have everything they need within themselves to heal, find meaning, and thrive, but we all need support, connection, and collaboration to grow perspective and make lasting changes. I see individuals, couples, and family relationships, ranging from adolescence through adulthood.
As a therapist, I work from several approaches and do my best to tailor therapy to my clients’ personalities, temperaments, and functional abilities. My primary practices include EFT (Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, IFS, ACT, and, of course, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I especially enjoy working with clients in major life transitions, including faith, relational, and developmental.
I am a Utah native and have a deep love for my surroundings, while understanding the unique cultural aspects of living here. I have three beautiful children and the coolest husband around. I enjoy the beautiful outdoors, live concerts in spades, and strumming on my guitar (in spite of my crippling stage fright!). Nothing fills my cup more than a good beverage and deep conversation with a friend. Kinda like therapy. ????
